Public Relations Officer

Position Purpose

The Public Relations Officer is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support related to employee visa processes, government transactions, and corporate documentation. The role ensures that all government formalities are completed in line with UAE regulatory requirements and acts as a key liaison between the organization and external authorities.

Role Description

  • Coordinate visa processes including new applications, renewals, cancellations, and releases in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and service providers.
  • Manage documentation and legal typing requirements for new employees to ensure timely issuance of residence visas.
  • Plan and track visa renewals in accordance with UAE government regulations and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Track cases such as absconding employees or lost passports and ensure timely reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Manage trade license renewals and related company documentation with government entities.
  • Maintain and organize all legal and corporate documentation to ensure compliance and accessibility.
  • Act as a point of contact with government authorities to obtain updates, clarifications, and approvals.
  • Support employee exit processes, ensuring all visa cancellation requirements are completed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to visa processing and employee documentation.
  • Support high-volume onboarding or offboarding activities when required.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned to support business needs.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and government platforms (Immigration, MOHRE, Pension systems).
  • Strong understanding of UAE government procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Secondary or post-secondary education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Public Relations Officer role.
  • Experience handling visa processing and government transactions in the UAE.
  • Experience managing high-volume onboarding or offboarding processes is an advantage.
